Seniors Still Learning

Saturday, June 29th, 2024: KELTIC TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT DIVISION 1 FOOTBALL – Seniors – Barnet Lane – 14:00

St Kiernans 1-18 vs 1-12 North London Shamrocks

The seniors came up short against a strong St Kiernans side, the current form team of the league. After a poor first half, we started to come back into the game, leading the second period. However, progress was halted by the sending-off of Seamus Hughes after receiving a second yellow. From there, it was an uphill task, but the boys stuck at it and nearly snatched something from the game with two late goal chances, one of which hit the post. The boys will dust themselves down and look to improve next time out, undoubtedly helped by getting a few key players back.

NLS Players Excel for London U15

Huge congratulations to our players who represented London U15 in The John West GAA Féile Peile na nÓg National Finals 2024, playing their games at Padraig Pearse’s GAA in Ballinasloe.

NLS Players Deliver Excellence for London U17

The London U17 team had an incredible journey in Ireland, participating in a 4-team tournament at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence. They showcased brilliant football and secured two impressive wins: London 3-4, Sligo 2-5, and London 3-4, Mayo 1-9. With these victories, London proudly claimed the Mary McPartland Cup. Congratulations to the team for their championship performance!

Lost Water Bottles

The clubhouse is on a pursuit to find the owners of some lonely water bottles. If you recognize a H2O vessel, please let your coach know. If we can’t find the owners, we will dispose of them next weekend.

☘️ Our All Ireland Football Final Squares Competition!

Keith and Barney are in a friendly race for popularity with our All Ireland Squares Competition, and right now, Barney’s charisma is stealing the show. Poor old Keith could use some love! ☘️

Why not drop them a message and join the fun? You could win up to £600!

Rules:

Scores are converted into points at 20 mins, half time, 55 mins, full time, and the end of extra time (if required).
The last digit of the teams’ total points at those times determines the winner.
How it works:

For example, if “Team 1” is winning 2-6 to 9 points at half time, that’s 12 points to 9. The winner would be Row 2, Column 9.
Each winner receives £150.
Price:

£20 per box or three boxes for £50. Boxes must be purchased before the game starts.
Organisers’ decision is final.

ABC Action

The ABCs will feature 350 teams and close to 4000 children playing between Thursday 5th and Sunday 8th July.

Best of luck to the 11 Shamrocks youth teams playing at the All Britain Championships in Hazelwood this weekend. Also, best of luck to all Shamrocks participating in the schools’ competition on Thursday.
